Hello fellow Sasonians! 👋 I’m Naval Goel, SAS – Class of 2002 It feels great to be part of this forum and reconnect with the Sasonian family. It’s hard to believe that it has been 24 years since we passed out — although some of the memories from school still feel like yesterday! After leaving SAS, I pursued my Engineering from VTU, Bangalore and MBA from IIFT and went on to build a career in finance and insurance. Alongside I also completed my CFA Charter and FRM. I eventually took the entrepreneurial plunge and founded PolicyX.com, where I am currently the Founder & CEO. Over the years, we’ve built PolicyX into a leading insurance technology platform employing 250+ people and still bootstrapped and profitable, with the aim of making insurance simpler and more transparent for customers. While the professional journey has been exciting, I believe some of the most important lessons — curiosity, resilience, competitiveness, friendships and the confidence to dream big — started much earlier, during our years at SAS. For me, being a Sasonian is not just about the school we attended; it’s about being part of a community that stays connected long after we leave those school gates. Really looking forward to reconnecting with old friends, meeting Sasonians from other batches and hearing everyone’s stories and journeys. 2002 feels like yesterday… and 24 years somehow disappeared! 😄 Once a Sasonian, always a Sasonian! ❤️ Naval Goel SAS — Class of 2002 https://www.linkedin.com/in/navalgoel/

Welcome, Naval — and thank you for opening the introductions so generously. Your journey is impressive, but what may be especially valuable to this forum is the expertise you have built in insurance and financial services. We hope, over time, you might help demystify some of those areas for fellow Sasonians — whether around insurance choices, common mistakes, or how the industry really works. And to everyone else: please do introduce yourselves too. The point here is not only exceptional careers; every Sasonian story adds something to the community.
