It is a wonderful feeling to reconnect with my school, a place that holds some of the fondest memories of my life. I spent 14 golden years here, growing, learning, making lifelong friendships, discovering my interests, and developing many of the values that have stayed with me throughout my journey.
Over the years, my professional journey has taken me through software, technology, training, and eventually into Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. From my early years as a technical trainer and software professional, every phase has brought new opportunities to learn, grow, and create meaningful impact. Today, I work as a Data Scientist, while also being involved as a Program Lead and Instructor at IIT Madras.
Alongside my professional work, I serve as a speaker and mentor, sharing my experiences and insights on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and technology with students, educators, and professionals. These experiences have reinforced my belief that learning becomes truly meaningful when we are able to share it with others.
Looking back, I realise that much of what I have become was shaped long before my professional career began. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my teachers and members of the school staff who guided me, encouraged me, challenged me, and supported me during those formative years. Many of their lessons, both academic and beyond the classroom, have stayed with me and continue to influence the person I am today.
It is truly special to return to the school through this alumni community and reconnect with a place that has played such an important role in my life. Once a Sasonian, always a Sasonian. 🙏🙂
